Mensenbieb Emmen 2005
On August 28th 2005, the Mensenbieb (People Library) was present at the Full Colour Festival, a multi-cultural festival in Emmen, Drenthe, The Netherlands.
Mensenbieb is a bus which stands on festivals in the province Drenthe, The Netherlands. The bus contains several people from different backgrounds who you can "lend", like books in a library. In this case, people can have a talk with these persons to get to know eachother and to enhance their knowledge about the other person. Stickers with texts like 'Blondes are stupid' and 'Old people are dangerous in cars' are handed out to get in discussion with people.
Mensenbieb gets a lot of attention from the media. During the event in Emmen, some journalists were present for interviews with participants.
